Advising

UC Merced’s three academic schools and the Calvin E. Bright Success Center have advisers available to help students succeed though their journeys on campus.

Campus advisors care about students as people, encouraging and facilitating academic and personal growth by listening, learning and helping. They assist students in planning their academic careers, including students’ decisions on majors, minors and which classes to take. They also provide guidance if students are struggling with their studies.
