Research is for Students, Too

UC Merced is committed to providing opportunities for students at every level to participate in research.

A pillar of the Research Day tradition will be a competition for student research posters, with cash prizes for the best graduate and undergraduate research posters in each of UC Merced’s schools.

In 2007, six prizes will be awarded – one undergraduate and one graduate student in the schools of Natural Sciences; Engineering; and Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts. The poster forum begins at 10 a.m., Monday, April 16, on the second floor of the Kolligian Library (east wing).
