Name: Matt Creeger Age: 23 What are your post-graduation plans? After graduation, I’ll take a year off from school to gain some hands-on work experience in the field of public policy. After that, I plan on going to law school with a focus on international law. Where do you want to be in five years? Right now I’d say that in five years I’d like to be involved in foreign policy or foreign relations. However, five years ago, I never thought I would be where I am today. So I’m going to continue in a positive direction with the overall goal of waking up every day and being excited to go to work. |
What advice would you offer to incoming students? First, stay organized and try not to get behind in your classes (which will probably happen before you know it). Second, not everyone knows exactly what to do with their lives and that’s fine. It’s important though, to keep your eyes open and try new things to form an idea of where your interests lie. The trick is to find what you’re most passionate about and do it for the rest of your life. The last thing you want to do is wake up at age 65 and wonder why you spent countless 9-to-5 days doing something you don’t believe in or care about.
