Our thoughts go out to the millions of individuals living through the horror of the tsunami that hit South Asia in late December.
Presidents George H. Bush and Bill Clinton are leading a national charitable fund-raising relief effort. If you would like information about how to make a donation, visit the USA Freedom Corps Web site.
The Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress approved an act in early January, which says a taxpayer may treat any cash contribution made for the relief of the tsunami victims made in January 2005 as if the contribution were made on December 31, 2004, and not in January 2005.
