UC Merced Office of Admissions/Relations with Schools & Colleges Presents Educator's Update

MERCED, CA — Educators at Central Valley high schools and community colleges are encouraged to attend an Educator's Update hosted by the UC Merced Office of Admissions/Relations with Schools on Wednesday, March 15 in the California Room on the UC Merced campus.

Designed to provide an update on UC Merced's development and share information about the campus that will be useful for educators and students, this event also offers participants an opportunity to network and begin developing new educational partnerships. Administrators, teachers, counselors and other educators are invited to attend the program, which is hosted free of charge.

Beginning with registration and a full breakfast at 7:25 a.m., the agenda includes updates on academic programs and admissions, plus presentations about student life, housing, student advising and financial aid. Educators will be given time to ask questions of current UC Merced students and also will have the option of taking a campus tour.

Everyone interested in attending the Educator's Update at UC Merced should R.S.V.P. by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14. By making a reservation by the deadline, participants also will be able to park for free during the event.

The UC Merced Office of Admissions/Relations with Schools & Colleges presents the Educator's Update on March 15, 2006 from 7:25 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The program will take place in the California Room on the UC Merced campus, 5200 North Lake Road, Merced. This free event is open to all high school and community college educators.
