UC Merced Outreach Program on Channel 30 Local ABC TV Affiliate

UC Merced outreach efforts such as the UC Scholars Early Academic Outreach Program have yielded promising results. San Joaquin Valley schools participating in the program posted a nearly 10 percent increase in UC admission rates for their students in 2000-01, its first year, and a 16 percent increase in 2001-02.
