Research Interests
Professor Chen's research focuses on examining the interactions of environmental policies and energy industry. In particular, he is interested in studying emissions and economic implications when the energy sector is subject to various market-based environmental instruments. Professor Chen is also interested in empirical research that addresses the effect of transportation infrastructure and environmental regulation on air quality and human health.
