Dr. Cameron's primary interests are in health psychology. Her current projects include research in:

  • Health communications and interventions for changing health behaviors
  • Imagery and affective processes influencing risk perceptions and behavior
  • Smoking prevention
  • Interventions for promoting adjustment during cancer treatment and survivorship
  • Genomics and risk communication
  • Self-regulation theory
  • Emotion regulation and health
