Search for the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor
The University of California, Merced has launched a search for a Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor (EVC). The current Provost, Keith Alley, announced he will retire at the end of this academic year (AY 2011-12). UC Merced has made significant progress during his tenure, and the next Provost and EVC will build upon a strong foundation to lead the continued growth of the Merced campus, the newest University of California campus.
Chancellor Dorothy Leland has appointed a search committee to recommend candidates for the position, and has enlisted the national executive search firm of Isaacson and Miller to serve as a consultant to the committee.
