The centers are important links in UC Merced’s educational network, which is anchored by the main campus in Merced and spans the entire San Joaquin Valley with centers in Bakersfield, Fresno, the Tri-College Center in Merced, facilities at Castle Aviation & Development Center in Atwater and the Great Valley Center in Modesto.

Services such as UC Merced summer courses, admissions and academic preparation programs and resources, workshops, conferences and lectures are offered at the centers. In addition, office space and meeting facilities are available for rent at the Bakersfield and Fresno Centers.
