The UC Center, Fresno was established in 1997 to better serve the educational needs of area residents and to prepare for the opening of UC Merced. Today, the Center is an important link in UC Merced’s educational network.

The Fresno Center is home to a number of UC programs such as UC Merced’s Small Business Development Regional Network office and the campus’ Center for Educational Partnerships as well as UCSF Fresno’s Latino Center for Medical Education and Research. Center Partners also include community-based, educational, business- and health-related organizations. Services such as academic preparation programs, workshops, conferences and lectures are offered at the UC Merced Fresno Center. Office space and meeting facilities are available for rent.
