Fresno Center

Paving the Way for UC Merced

UC Merced established the Fresno Center in 1997 as one of the first initiatives during planning stages for the UC Merced campus. The center helped the San Joaquin Valley prepare for the opening of UC Merced and continues to serve the educational needs of Fresno area residents.

Programs to Serve the Community

The center houses UC programs, including:

• UC Merced Small Business Development Regional Network
• UC Merced Center for Educational Partnerships
• UCSF Fresno's Latino Center for Medical Education and Research

The center also houses community-based educational, business and health organizations.

Additional Services

UC application and personal statement workshops, counselor conferences, UC Merced online admissions advising, and lectures and classes are offered periodically at the Fresno Center.

The center also offers high-tech office space and meeting rooms for lease to Fresno-area businesses and organizations. Amenities include:
